ABOUT THE BOOK

When we visited Paris, we, Jazzy Girl and Rhumbi Boy, two rescue cats who care very deeply about all animals, loved the moment that our chef came to the table next to us to give the dog food scraps and a bone. We thought that was very thoughtful and considerate.

We also loved the chef’s hat and jacket, and how kind he was to us–stopping at our table to talk, asking us how we liked the food (it was scrumptious), and inviting us back.

The name of the restaurant was Chez Henri, which roughly translated, means Henry’s Place. So now that we are home again, we decided to become chefs, to name our restaurant Chez Henri, and to serve wonderful comfort meals and desserts that we ourselves create.
